Available prims

Post by Sudane Erato »

The discussion at the LUC meeting today ranged over many topics. One topic various projects which we felt the first step was to detrermine the number of prims available, so I volunteered to count available prims in each sim.

For non-prim-multiplied sims this process is very easy, but only NFS and CN are non-multiplied (Multiplied means that a "bonus factor" has been installed on the sim. If for example the bonus factor is 2, this means that every parcel has twice the number of prims it would have if there was no bonus factor). Obviously, the prims have to come from somewhere, and that "somewhere" is the common land of the sim... in our case, the land owned by Land Verwaltung.

The following is a list, TODAY, of available prims on each sim. If someone rezzes an item on common land, this number changes.

SIM....MULTIPLIER.... AVAILABLE PRIMS
NFS...........1..............3788
CN............1..............7733
LA ........... 2............. 1572
MON......... 8.06......... -34 (meaning we have overloaded the common land)
AM........... 2............. 3272
FDS.......... 3............ 41

Re: Available prims

As this topic is now 6 months old, and in need of update, I have created a new chart on our CDS Parcel Management file which displays the available public prims in each sim.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1359295665

Scroll to below the land finances summaries. Please note that I have no way to count prims in use automatically at this point, so the chart remains dependent on a periodic manual count. The manual info is entered on the respective sim tabs... this chart is just a summary display.
