This is going to stress our ability to proceed constructively, as feelings are running high. It's a perfectly legitimate topic for debate today - nothing's out of bounds in politics, but I ask all to work carefully to be civil and mutually respectful.

[2008/07/13 10:35] Arria Perreault: The interesting survey about Master has shown that people are interested in these matters. I personally want to spend more and more energy in this domain.

[2008/07/13 10:35] Arria Perreault: We see have to see how commerce is special in SL, regarding RL commerce.

[2008/07/13 10:37] Bells Semyorka: Becoming a member of the RA is so mething I have great interest in because it is a part of one of the longest traditions in Second Life's history.

[2008/07/13 10:37] Bells Semyorka: just to name a few :) I have learned that the only way to gain knowledge and experience is become an active member of the community and take action.
[2008/07/13 10:38] Bells Semyorka: I believe that this willingness to learn and grow is one that I share with the Nucare fraction and as a member of said fraction I am ready to move forward taking the next step to improve the growth and development of the CDS community.
[2008/07/13 10:38] Bells Semyorka: Since becoming a member of CDS in early January I have helped with events such as the Masquerade Ball (mid elections) and Ball in Schloss that mark the end of the elections last term. I have attended RA meetings and witnessed our democratic government in action
[2008/07/13 10:38] Bells Semyorka: I have seen the mud slinging and smear campaigns from one party to another and during this time my curiosity, interest and love for CDS has only grown.
[2008/07/13 10:38] Bells Semyorka: It has now grown to such great heights where the next logical step can only be convinced by practicing the ultimate goal of NuCARE, striving to enhance our community by making it a place where we can all live, work, learn and support each other in democracy and freedom.

[2008/07/13 10:39] Bells Semyorka: NuCARE is committed to democratic principles that improve the experience of the citizens who live, work and support the Confederation of Democratic Simulators. We the members of NuCARE pride ourselves on our internal democratic processes, our openess as a party and that we operate according to agreed upon rules.
[2008/07/13 10:39] Bells Semyorka: We intend to open the experience of a democratic government to as many people in Second Life who wish to participate. We propose that a further sims are open in 2008 with a variety of small low cost lots for new citizens of CDS.
[2008/07/13 10:39] Bells Semyorka: We in NuCARE believe in openness and that the principles of democracy as applied in CDS be widely understood.
[2008/07/13 10:40] Bells Semyorka: In the current Representative Assembly session we introduced the Guided Tour Bill which received widespread support and approval.This tour will provide a much needed mechanism to spread the message of CDS and democracy in an interesting way. We intend to build on this success and make information about CDS available throughout Second Life by opening CDS embassies and stationing ambassadors outside of CDS sims.
[2008/07/13 10:40] Bells Semyorka: We advocate the promotion of the sharing between different Second Life cultures and systems, to promote the diversity of views, opinions and beliefs.
[2008/07/13 10:40] Bells Semyorka: We intend to promote education about and the development of metaverse principles. CDS events such as the Metanomics lectures have been actively supported by members of NuCARE.
[2008/07/13 10:40] Bells Semyorka: . NuCARE will support a two way dialogue with those at the forefront of the metaverse movement.
[2008/07/13 10:41] Bells Semyorka: NuCARE is also careful to listen to the citizens and ensure their views are respected and supported. We are proactive in presenting sensible policies which benefit the community and CDS as a whole.
[2008/07/13 10:41] Bells Semyorka: The Direct Teleport bill was introduced by a our RA member and again received overwhelming support from the community. This change has brought benefit to citzens and business within the CDS sims.
[2008/07/13 10:41] Bells Semyorka: NuCARE believes in financial accountability. Therefore NuCARE will introduce legislation regarding a competative bidding process for large expenditures.
