1 Administrative Business
1.1 Approval of the Agenda
The agenda was corrected following identification of minor errors. Motion to approve the corrected agenda. Jerry 1st, Gwyneth 2nd, all in favour, motion carried.
1.2 Review and approval of the Minutes of the Fifth RA Meeting on February 12, 2023
Motion to approve the minutes as presented. Almut 1st, Gwyneth 2nd, all in favour, motion carried.
2 Executive Report
After highlighting the February 19 Government Question Time event and the census, Moon updated the Assembly on improvements to the Colonia Nova sim, and the gradual change of the seasons across CDS. Event promotion is ongoing across various social media channels including Facebook and Twitter. Jerry volunteered to assist with setting up a Mastodon account, to investigate whether this may be a channel worth using in the future.
3 Land Use Commission Report
Sandy volunteered to take on the role of the Assembly's LUC Representative, following Agatha Macbeth's recent resignation. Almut seconded the nomination, and Sandy was unanimously elected as RA's LUC Representative.
4 Old Business
4.1 Colonia Nova Redevelopment Plans and their Consequences for the LUC's and Guild's Roles in the CDS
Members of the Assembly and others present debated at length once more the oversight structures and backgrounds of the Land Use Commission and the Artisan Guild, with a view to rationalising these groups. No consensus was reached, and the suggestion was made that the debate develop further on the Forum so that concrete proposals can be put forward at the next Assembly meeting.
