[09:04] Delia Lake: We citizens of the Confederation of Democratic Simulators are gathered here this morning to celebrate our incoming officers for the 36th Term of government. This is really quite an accomplishment that for all these many years now we have been a self-governing community.

[09:04] Delia Lake: The Confederation of Democratic Simulators is a democratic, secular state. The freedoms embodied in our Constitution are founded in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We elect our government officers two times a year to serve for a term of six months with terms starting on December 1 and June 1. Our Chancellor and our Representative Assembly are elected as representatives of the CDS citizenry and so are responsible to those who elect them, to take into account their interests and to govern in accord with the CDS Constitution

Today our incoming officers will affirm their commitment to do their best in representing our CDS community of citizens.
