This post sets out the Executive Work Plan for the rest of this six month term. You may recall that I asked for input on this a while back. I have been considering the responses since then, the platform I ran on for election, and working out what is deliverable in the remaining portion of the term.
First off though, some more things that have been achieved:
JANUARY
* Establish 'Ways of Working' with the Land Use Commission - DONE
FEBRUARY
* Commission Infrastructure Upgrades from the LUC - DONE
* Consult on Locus Amoenus Upgrades - DONE
For the remainder of the term, these are my priorities:
MARCH
* Set dates for weekly Government Question Hour meetings - DONE
* Commission Locus Amoenus Infrastructure Upgrades
* Set up a Community Land Partnership Programme (CLPP) Working Group
This will look into the feasibility of CDS joining the CLPP and assess what the costs and benefits might be of participation. The aim will be to produce a report for consideration by the community before the end of the term.
APRIL
* Develop a Proposal for a CDS Presence in another virtual world
* Begin ‘Floralia’ Preparations
MAY
* CLPP Working Group reports
* Implement Proposal for CDS Presence in another virtual world
* ‘Floralia’ celebrations
* Elections for the new RA and Chancellor
JUNE
* New RA and Chancellor Term Begins
A number of other proposals were made in response to the consultation or had been identified previously. I’m going to invite volunteers to develop or complete the work on these proposals. These include:
* Developing a Marketing Plan for CDS
* Sorting out the CDS and Land Verwaltung group roles and abilities
* Renovating the CDS Portal (and the Exec Branch pages specifically)
I haven’t forgotten the new region either. This has some timetabled actions for the Chancellor to complete but I have not included these month-by-month as this project is a little delayed. When the ball passes to me I will take the necessary actions.
I’ve decided to take no action on updating the master parcel list. There is work underway which cuts across this so those who think it is needed should talk to Widget who has been doing something which sounds very similar.
I was also asked to programme arts and cultural events and this work, alongside programming of other events, is ongoing.
