April 2008 by-election

CSDF friends,

After giving this matter much thought, I have decided to offer my name as one of our faction candidates in the upcoming by-election, and have notified the SC Dean of my intent. If I am returned to the RA, I will resign my position as a member of the SC.

We should run on a platform of policy, not process. We can take some credit for the much improved decorum in the RA, but the RA needs to focus on issues rather than processes and personalities. It's time to set aside the bickering and move forward to improve CDS, and show all that virtual democracy works.
