Deadline for declaration to run: 12 noon SLT April 29
The deadline to declare as a candidate for Chancellor or for the 23rd RA is tomorrow, Wednesday April 29th at 12 noon SLT. At this time there are two candidates for Chancellor, and only three qualified candidates for the five RA seats available.
If you intend to declare you must do so before the deadline, by notecard, to Callipygian Christensen.
I have been asked by a number of citizens what happens if not enough people stand to fill the 5 RA seats. In that event those standing will receive a seat on the RA, and a by-election will be scheduled immediately to fill any vacant seats. This will delay having a fully seated RA by some weeks, but that is unavoidable if a full slate of candidates does not stand in the regular election.
