2. Executive Report
The ABBA performance at the Fishing Village last Saturday was a success, with 19 attendants, of which about 2/3 were CDS citizens. The village recieved praise from several visitors.
Plans are underway for the 15th CDS Anniversary month. The celebrations will run from Sept. 7 to the end of Oktoberfest on Oct. 6. The centerpiece of the celebration will be the rebuilt and refreshed CDS outpost in Anzere sim, where CDS got its start.
The Seraphim advertisements will be published September through November. The Chancellor is contemplating a press release in SL Enquirer, and possibly also a ”classified” on SL Newser. But the budget is strained due to our sim upgrades.
3. LUC Report, 18 August Meeting

Much of the meeting time was spent discussing the Colonia Nova Draft covenant, which is now posted on the general forums threads for anyone to comment on.
The RA members discussed the height restriction of buildings in CDS, as stated in the covenants. There was a consensus about the need for generally lower houses on small parcels, with the possibility of granted variances in special cases.
The question will be raised on the forums, for citizens to comment on. Based on the expressed opinions of citizens, the LUC will then work out a differentiated height restriction for buildings on parcels of varied sizes, thereby making an effort to keep it simple.
