[2018/06/25 13:12] Bagheera Kristan: Moving on to Executive Report
[2018/06/25 13:13] Bagheera Kristan: Han, the floor is yours
[2018/06/25 13:13] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thank you, Madame LRA....
[2018/06/25 13:13] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I don't have much to report, I held an personal open office and got some constructive feedback, our SL15B exhibit is still up
[2018/06/25 13:14] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Kyoko and I have finished working on the budget and it's ready to vote on
[2018/06/25 13:14] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I'd like to coordinate with the SC and the RA to hold a government hour in July if possible
[2018/06/25 13:14] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): That's really about it for right now.
[2018/06/25 13:14] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thank you, and done :)
[2018/06/25 13:15] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you, Chancellor
[2018/06/25 13:15] Bagheera Kristan: If anyone on the RA has questions for the Chancellor, please add yourself to the list using the talking stick
[2018/06/25 13:15] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Btw, not sure if it changes or not, but the link to the budget is:
[2018/06/25 13:16] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): If anyone has any questions, I'd be happy to answer them
[2018/06/25 13:16] Bagheera Kristan: I had one comment, Chancellor, regarding the government question hour
[2018/06/25 13:16] Bagheera Kristan: I saw that you believed you had to have members from multiple branches of the government present at the same time
[2018/06/25 13:16] Bagheera Kristan: if I remember correctly, that is not required...
[2018/06/25 13:17] Bagheera Kristan: the idea is to have a member of a branch of the government available to ask qeustions about that branch
[2018/06/25 13:17] Bagheera Kristan: but they don't all have to be there
[2018/06/25 13:17] Bagheera Kristan: If anyone else would like to clarify what I just said, I am speaking from memory
[2018/06/25 13:18] Rosie Gray: I think you are correct, Bags
[2018/06/25 13:18] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you Rosie.
[2018/06/25 13:18] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Lilith has told me that the law (NL 7-10, I'm trying to load the page but it's not loading) does require one representative from each branch of the government be present.
[2018/06/25 13:18] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): And that is what I am basing that on
[2018/06/25 13:19] Bagheera Kristan: let me take a moment to go look at that again... be right back... in addition, if RA need to take time to look over the budget, this is a good time
[2018/06/25 13:19] Bagheera Kristan: shall we set aside a 3 minute *break* for reviewing of these items
[2018/06/25 13:20] Bagheera Kristan: I will call back to order in 3 minutes
[2018/06/25 13:20] Rosie Gray: oh sorry, I misread what you said
[2018/06/25 13:20] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): https://cdsdemocracy.org/faqs/nl-7-1-go ... -hour-act/
[2018/06/25 13:20] Tanoujin Milestone: "In order to make the government more accessible this Act establishes an informal Government Question Hour with at least one government ‘official’ from each branch of government present, once per month. "
[2018/06/25 13:20] Rosie Gray: yes, I believe that the idea is to have one person from each branch there
[2018/06/25 13:21] Tanoujin Milestone: but: "The Chancellor may schedule additional Government Question Hours based on public demand. "
[2018/06/25 13:21] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I believe what Lilith was referring to was part 2 of the law; "The Chancellor is charged with facilitating representation from all three branches."
[2018/06/25 13:21] Rosie Gray: /me raises a hand regarding the budget
[2018/06/25 13:21] Bagheera Kristan: yes Rosie? go ahead
[2018/06/25 13:21] Rosie Gray: sorry but I have forgotten what this commission fund is for
[2018/06/25 13:22] Rosie Gray: can you please explain, Han?
[2018/06/25 13:22] 恭子 Kyoko (Samara Barzane): /me giggles
[2018/06/25 13:22] Tanoujin Milestone: advertising
[2018/06/25 13:22] Rosie Gray: what about advertising?
[2018/06/25 13:22] Tanoujin Milestone: i yield for han
[2018/06/25 13:22] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): For an advertising commision
[2018/06/25 13:22] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): so that if they decide to buy ads on any sites, they have the funds to do so
[2018/06/25 13:23] Bagheera Kristan: TAn, did you have a question?
[2018/06/25 13:23] Tanoujin Milestone: i have a comment
[2018/06/25 13:23] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): This fund is seperate from the already decided-upon advertising (the SLNewers, basically) so that it can be passed on to the next term if it isn't used in this term.
[2018/06/25 13:23] Bagheera Kristan: Tan, please go ahead, when you are ready
[2018/06/25 13:24] Bagheera Kristan: Tan?
[2018/06/25 13:24] Tanoujin Milestone: ty. Pleaselet us not make the mistake to get another commission running wild and dying off - i suggest Han asks the RA to set such a commission up and we do so (If we can agree on that) and dissolve it when it gets inactive
[2018/06/25 13:25] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): If I may?
[2018/06/25 13:25] Rosie Gray: ahem
[2018/06/25 13:25] Bagheera Kristan: go ahead Han, if it is in response to Tan, otherwise, please yield to Rosie
[2018/06/25 13:25] Tanoujin Milestone: done
[2018/06/25 13:25] Bagheera Kristan: go ahead Rosie
[2018/06/25 13:26] Rosie Gray: oh, okay... thought Han was typing
[2018/06/25 13:26] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): In response to Tan; this commision is intended to be of a limited time duration -this term, basicallly. I don't see "dying off" being an issue for that reason, though if nothing gets done it could be extended to next term (which is why I want the funds to be able to be saved in that event). (cont)
[2018/06/25 13:26] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I am more worried about gettting people to *chair* the commision, than I am about it dying offi.
[2018/06/25 13:26] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I don't object to turning it over to the RA, if the RA wants to go that route
[2018/06/25 13:26] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): done.
[2018/06/25 13:26] Rosie Gray: yes, I don't think that the current Chancellor can actually set up money from this term to carry forward to the next term. That would be hamstringing the next term Chancellor and in effect making decisions for them
[2018/06/25 13:27] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): The funds will be available; the chancellor can ignore them or decide to put them back into the general fund as they like
[2018/06/25 13:27] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): So I disagree
[2018/06/25 13:27] Rosie Gray: and, sorry but it is not the RA's job to do the advertising, so I think that we must leave that in your hands
[2018/06/25 13:27] Rosie Gray: each Chancellor creates their own budget though, Han
[2018/06/25 13:28] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): You've brought up two points
[2018/06/25 13:28] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): If you have a third, I can wait for you to type it out
[2018/06/25 13:28] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): and I'll address them all together
[2018/06/25 13:28] Rosie Gray: you could make a case with your budget to have funds not spent from the previous term to add to your term, but I don't see it working the way you are proposing
[2018/06/25 13:28] Rosie Gray: okay done
[2018/06/25 13:29] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thank you :D
[2018/06/25 13:29] Tanoujin Milestone: /me raises hand
[2018/06/25 13:30] Bagheera Kristan: go ahead Tan
[2018/06/25 13:30] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Now, if I can make a case with my budget to use funds from the previous term -as I bleieve you just said? Then the next chancellor could equallyl make the case to use funds left over from MY term ...particularly if the funds have been allocated with that intention explicityly stated
[2018/06/25 13:30] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Oi! Typing here!
[2018/06/25 13:30] Bagheera Kristan: sorry, please wait TAn
[2018/06/25 13:30] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thank you :)
[2018/06/25 13:31] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Secondly, hamstringing -the next chancellor has free will to do whatever with their budget that they like. They will have my stated intent, but nothing binds them to that -they are free to put the funds back into the general fund and ignore my wishes.
[2018/06/25 13:31] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): So I disagree that they'll be hamstrung
[2018/06/25 13:31] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thirdly:
[2018/06/25 13:33] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I suck at law, and that is a given; but my reading of the constitution would seem to allow me to deputize parts of my job (except for the budget :p~) and I believe that gives me the authority to call an advertising commision for the purpose of gathering ideas and finding resources which I am not currently aware of, and to assist me in deciding how to go forward with promoting the CDS.
[2018/06/25 13:33] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I may be wrong, and I'm happy to be corrected if I am; but that is my understanding.
[2018/06/25 13:33] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Done :D
[2018/06/25 13:33] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you, go ahead Tan
[2018/06/25 13:33] Tanoujin Milestone: i am fine with an advertising team under the executive, not called commission or committee, but I would like to see that limited to this term then. The budget is term limited IMHO.
[2018/06/25 13:33] Bagheera Kristan: *nods*
[2018/06/25 13:34] Tanoujin Milestone: done
[2018/06/25 13:35] Rosie Gray: I agree with Tan about it not being a commission. A committee under the Chancellor or team or whatever you want to call it is fine. A commission is something different.
[2018/06/25 13:35] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you Tan. I just want to comment that I agree with Tan. To create a budget that extends past the current term by the Chancellor creates a bucket
[2018/06/25 13:35] Bagheera Kristan: *speaking*
[2018/06/25 13:35] Bagheera Kristan: creates a bucket that is outside the regular scope of how CDS handles their finances
[2018/06/25 13:35] Bagheera Kristan: done.
[2018/06/25 13:36] Bagheera Kristan: Go ahead Chancellor, please
[2018/06/25 13:36] Rosie Gray: sorry for interrupting, Bags.
[2018/06/25 13:36] Bagheera Kristan: np
[2018/06/25 13:36] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thanks.
[2018/06/25 13:36] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): a) I don't mind changing the name -I'm certainly not wed to it
[2018/06/25 13:37] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): b) The intent is to save money long-term if possible, but I don't mind limiting it to this term. The next chancellor will be free to roll it back into the general fund anyway so I don't see it being a problem.
[2018/06/25 13:37] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): done
[2018/06/25 13:37] Bagheera Kristan: thank you Han
[2018/06/25 13:37] Bagheera Kristan: My question is...
[2018/06/25 13:38] Bagheera Kristan: When you wrote this budget, you allocated $L35,000 but it sounds like you don't actually expect to use all of that...
[2018/06/25 13:38] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I didn't; I wanted to make sure that if we needed funds, we had them. I was hoping to use less, however.
[2018/06/25 13:38] Bagheera Kristan: Looking just at this term.... what amount do you anticipate actually spending maximum?
[2018/06/25 13:39] Bagheera Kristan: if you need to revisit the budgett and adjust accordingly, that's fine, I am just uncomfortable with such a high amount with no definition. Done
[2018/06/25 13:40] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Ok, for advertising, the bare minimum is for the newser
[2018/06/25 13:40] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I am assuming that other blogs will cost about the same, and I've tried to leave room to get ads on 3 of them
[2018/06/25 13:41] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): minimum? The minum we'll spend is in the advertising section; basically renewing the SLnewser.
[2018/06/25 13:41] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): That's my best guess.
[2018/06/25 13:41] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I want a commision so I can get other ideas and others' experience
[2018/06/25 13:41] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Events?
[2018/06/25 13:41] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I'm talking with Kyoko and finding out prices of things such as tribute acts which I believe will be a draw to the CDS
[2018/06/25 13:42] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): The minimum amount for events are the total of the events I've already specified, but I have left some room in case we stumble across opportunities (eg a popular act opens up) we don't see right now.
[2018/06/25 13:42] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Done
[2018/06/25 13:42] Tanoujin Milestone: /me raises hand
[2018/06/25 13:43] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you Han. Would it make more sense split or roll that 39 into events and advertising
[2018/06/25 13:43] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Maybe Kyoko can give some insisght into the events expenses if she doesn't mind?
[2018/06/25 13:43] Bagheera Kristan: you can create a commission to enact whatever you desire, separate from a budget line imte, imo
[2018/06/25 13:43] 恭子 Kyoko (Samara Barzane): raises hand
[2018/06/25 13:43] Bagheera Kristan: please go ahead Tan
[2018/06/25 13:43] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I'm not sure which is better; I'm not wed to them being sepeerate, and wrote them seperate for y'alls convience. I'm fine either way
[2018/06/25 13:43] Bagheera Kristan: after Tan, then Kyoko
[2018/06/25 13:43] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Sorry, go ahead, Tan.
[2018/06/25 13:44] Tanoujin Milestone: i see you set aside 30 k for the newser, right? So there is only 5k for other opportunities? Am I interpreting that rightly?
[2018/06/25 13:44] Tanoujin Milestone: *corrctl
[2018/06/25 13:44] Tanoujin Milestone: done
[2018/06/25 13:45] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you TAn. Kyoko, please go ahead
[2018/06/25 13:45] 恭子 Kyoko (Samara Barzane): Thank you madame chair
[2018/06/25 13:46] 恭子 Kyoko (Samara Barzane): we are scheduling a variety of events, which, while priced out individually, the hope is what we don't spend in a month might be put to a second event.
[2018/06/25 13:46] 恭子 Kyoko (Samara Barzane): The list is in the budget
[2018/06/25 13:46] 恭子 Kyoko (Samara Barzane): done
[2018/06/25 13:47] Tanoujin Milestone: Hi Lyubov
[2018/06/25 13:47] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): /me raises my hand
[2018/06/25 13:47] Lyubov (20180414 Resident): whispers: hi there! :)
[2018/06/25 13:47] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): hi Lyubov
[2018/06/25 13:47] Rosie Gray: hello Lyubov
[2018/06/25 13:47] Tanoujin Milestone: /me waits humbly for an answer
[2018/06/25 13:47] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Heya Lyubov :)
[2018/06/25 13:47] Lyubov (20180414 Resident): happy to make it, ty
[2018/06/25 13:47] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you Kyoko. Please go ahead Han
[2018/06/25 13:47] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): /me waits to be called on so I can answer Tan
[2018/06/25 13:47] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thanks
[2018/06/25 13:47] Tanoujin Milestone: :)
[2018/06/25 13:47] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Tan, the advertising for this term has two parts.
[2018/06/25 13:47] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Known and unknown.
[2018/06/25 13:48] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I know we want to continue with the newser
[2018/06/25 13:48] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): So I've set aside 30k for six months
[2018/06/25 13:48] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): That's what I know I want to go with
[2018/06/25 13:48] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I have set aside the advertising meeting fund so that if they see other opporutnities, they can pull money out of *that fund* for those opportunties.
[2018/06/25 13:48] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Does that answer your question?
[2018/06/25 13:49] Tanoujin Milestone: how much for the unknown part?
[2018/06/25 13:49] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): The advertising commitee fund is for the unknown ...or shoudl I say undetermined... part
[2018/06/25 13:50] Tanoujin Milestone: amount please?
[2018/06/25 13:50] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): So 35000
[2018/06/25 13:50] Bagheera Kristan: I will speak next unless someone else has something to say....
[2018/06/25 13:50] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): For the term
[2018/06/25 13:50] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I'm done
[2018/06/25 13:50] Tanoujin Milestone: fine
[2018/06/25 13:50] Tanoujin Milestone: done also
[2018/06/25 13:50] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you Han. In my opinion....
[2018/06/25 13:50] Bagheera Kristan: as people have been talking, I've gained some clarity in my own mind...
[2018/06/25 13:51] Bagheera Kristan: I am fine with the budgeted amount for unknown advertising opportunities, however....
[2018/06/25 13:51] Bagheera Kristan: I am not sure it is wise to assign it to a Commission as a line item on the budget...
[2018/06/25 13:51] Rosie Gray: /me nods in agreement
[2018/06/25 13:51] Bagheera Kristan: The Executive has the right to find helpers and assemble them in whatever form works best...
[2018/06/25 13:52] Tanoujin Milestone: :)
[2018/06/25 13:52] Bagheera Kristan: but tying a line item to a group that is accountable to the Executive but not actually the Chancellor seems complicated and potentially confusing... .the responsibility is yours as Chancellor
[2018/06/25 13:53] Bagheera Kristan: the items covered are advertising and/or events, so let's keep it to those items - not to a gropu that is not yet formed
[2018/06/25 13:53] Tanoujin Milestone: /me raises hand
[2018/06/25 13:53] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you. Done
[2018/06/25 13:53] Bagheera Kristan: Go ahead Tan
[2018/06/25 13:53] Tanoujin Milestone: i agree. I believe the RA expects you to be the boss, I.E. chair of that commission
[2018/06/25 13:53] Tanoujin Milestone: done
[2018/06/25 13:54] Bagheera Kristan: Han, go ahead please
[2018/06/25 13:54] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thank you, first off, I would have to be the chair, so I have no problem with that. Second, if I understand you correctly Bags you're suggesting that I should roll the commision and advertising funds together for a total of 65,000 this term? Is that would you would recommend?
[2018/06/25 13:55] Bagheera Kristan: that would be fine with me personally
[2018/06/25 13:55] Bagheera Kristan: the rest of the RA would also have opinions, of course
[2018/06/25 13:55] Bagheera Kristan: done
[2018/06/25 13:55] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I'm more than happy to change the budget however the RA needs me to for them to pass it. :)
[2018/06/25 13:55] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): done
[2018/06/25 13:56] Tanoujin Milestone: just a qurestion
[2018/06/25 13:56] Bagheera Kristan: go ahead Tan
[2018/06/25 13:56] Tanoujin Milestone: can we keep it in the black this way?
[2018/06/25 13:56] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): That's been my goal, certainly
[2018/06/25 13:57] Tanoujin Milestone: fine with it then.
[2018/06/25 13:57] Tanoujin Milestone: done
[2018/06/25 13:57] Bagheera Kristan: go ahead Han
[2018/06/25 13:58] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): THanks. We have at least two people on the RA ...Bagheera and Rosie...with Chancellor and budgetary experience with the CDS. Part of the reason for the chancellor to submit the budget for approval is to make sure that we're either in the black, or that we've got a good reason for not being in the black (cont)
[2018/06/25 13:59] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): I'm trusting that they're looking at the numbers through the lens of their experiences and will speak up if it looks like I'm going to drive the CDS into living in a van by the river :D
[2018/06/25 13:59] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): done.
[2018/06/25 13:59] Bagheera Kristan: I'll speak next unless someone else has soemthing to say....
[2018/06/25 14:01] Bagheera Kristan: I am further thinking you could change the Advertising Commission line to "Advertising and Event Contingency" which is another way to say - fund for unknown opportunities. In my opinion and experience - Events more so, and Advertising less so, but both are ways to bring in new citizens, which is where our revenues come from, so it often does require a bit more when times are lean to get the revenue back up
[2018/06/25 14:01] Bagheera Kristan: so I am fine with it with the hope/expectation for higher income as a result. that is my personal opinion. done
[2018/06/25 14:02] Bagheera Kristan: Does anyone else have anything to say?
[2018/06/25 14:02] Laura Azalee: not me
[2018/06/25 14:02] Bagheera Kristan: Hello Lady Kiki, please go ahead please
[2018/06/25 14:02] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): just a question , as I do not really now much about budgetting: what does Certs/SSL stand for?
[2018/06/25 14:03] Bagheera Kristan: That is a new requirement for website security, for the CDS website, right Han?
[2018/06/25 14:03] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): That is because the security certificates on the cdsdemocratcy domain have expired and need to be replaced. The forum disscussion can be read here: http://forums.slcds.info/viewtopic.php? ... 94bda657de
[2018/06/25 14:04] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Sorry, I was finding the link :)
[2018/06/25 14:04] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): ah thank you. Done.
[2018/06/25 14:04] Bagheera Kristan: :) Please go ahead Tan
[2018/06/25 14:04] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): If you re-load the spreadsheet you'll see I've made labelling changes -would those work for y'all?
[2018/06/25 14:04] Tanoujin Milestone: i have ran into a security warning already opening the CDS portal.... it is ubacceptable, so this item is needed
[2018/06/25 14:04] Tanoujin Milestone: done
[2018/06/25 14:05] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you Tan. Please go ahead Chancellor Han.
[2018/06/25 14:05] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thank you, Madame LRA. Please give me a min to type
[2018/06/25 14:06] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Two things. First off, a quick note. I am not sure what the cost of the certs will be. They may be free, they may be as low as $5USD. If they come out more expensive than what I have allocated, would the RA object to my taking them from the "opportunities" fund? Or should I increase the amount set aside for the certs?
[2018/06/25 14:07] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Second off, I'm a little confused how the RA wants me to proceed. I'm not sure if you want me to keep a seperate "advertising" (renewing the SLNewser) fund and an "Opportunities" fund; or if you want me to roll everything into a straight-forward "Advertising" fund.
[2018/06/25 14:07] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Done.
[2018/06/25 14:08] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you Han. Please go ahead Lady Kiki.
[2018/06/25 14:08] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): I think internet security is of major importance. I also get messages that the links are not safe to open sometimes..
[2018/06/25 14:09] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): So I think every funds that are needed should be taken for that
[2018/06/25 14:09] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): done
[2018/06/25 14:09] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you Kiki. Please go ahead, Rosie
[2018/06/25 14:09] Rosie Gray: thanks
[2018/06/25 14:10] Rosie Gray: I would say it's absolutely fine to take funds from the 'opportunities' allocation, if necessary. The website is a key part of our marketing, so it all fits
[2018/06/25 14:10] Rosie Gray: done
[2018/06/25 14:10] Bagheera Kristan: *nods*
[2018/06/25 14:10] Bagheera Kristan: Please go ahead Han
[2018/06/25 14:11] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thank you, first I want to note that I'll probably post a reply in that thread before spending cash -just so there's a public record. Second, I'd like to ask Kiki to post a reply in that thread voicing her concerns if at all possible.
[2018/06/25 14:11] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Done, thank you :)
[2018/06/25 14:12] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you Han. Are there any more questions for the Chancellor? Would any one like to make a motion regarding the Budget?
[2018/06/25 14:12] Bagheera Kristan: oh whoops, sorry, Kiki you have a comment?
[2018/06/25 14:12] Bagheera Kristan: please go ahead Kiki
[2018/06/25 14:12] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): I will do that. I havent been able to read anything in the forum lately cause my laptop crashed, I am not on my desktopand didnt have the links tghere. But I will post it there
[2018/06/25 14:12] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): done
[2018/06/25 14:13] Bagheera Kristan: thank you
[2018/06/25 14:13] Rosie Gray: Motion to accept the proposed budget with updated wording as discussed.
[2018/06/25 14:13] Tanoujin Milestone: second
[2018/06/25 14:13] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you. Please vote
[2018/06/25 14:13] Laura Azalee: aye
[2018/06/25 14:13] Tanoujin Milestone: aye

[2018/06/25 14:14] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thank you all :)
[2018/06/25 14:14] Bagheera Kristan: *claps*
[2018/06/25 14:14] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Rent's paid for the term
[2018/06/25 14:14] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): \o/ \o/ \o/
[2018/06/25 14:14] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you Chancellor Han
[2018/06/25 14:14] Rosie Gray: hehe
[2018/06/25 14:14] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thank you, Madame LRA, and esteemed members of the RA
[2018/06/25 14:14] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Anything else while I'm here?
[2018/06/25 14:15] Bagheera Kristan: Does anyone have any more questions for the Chancellor?
[2018/06/25 14:15] Rosie Gray: not me
[2018/06/25 14:15] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): no
[2018/06/25 14:15] Tanoujin Milestone: no :)
[2018/06/25 14:15] Laura Azalee: no
[2018/06/25 14:15] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Great, I'll have a seat; thank you :)
[2018/06/25 14:15] Bagheera Kristan: Thank you again, Chancellor Han. Excellent work
[2018/06/25 14:15] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): Thank you, Madame LRA :)
[2018/06/25 14:15] Bagheera Kristan: Moving on to the election of RA representative to the LUC. Rosie has volunteered. Is there any discussion or would someone like to make a motion?
[2018/06/25 14:16] Rosie Gray: /me raises a hand
[2018/06/25 14:16] Bagheera Kristan: yes, Rosie, pelase go ahead
[2018/06/25 14:16] Bagheera Kristan: *please
[2018/06/25 14:16] Rosie Gray: if someone else would like to go on as RA representative, I'm completely fine with that
[2018/06/25 14:16] Rosie Gray: I could probably be the guild representative
[2018/06/25 14:17] Rosie Gray: so please say, if you are interested
[2018/06/25 14:17] Tanoujin Milestone: I thought you are chairing the guild ?
[2018/06/25 14:17] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): I am fine with Rosie being the representative
[2018/06/25 14:17] Rosie Gray: I'm not actually chairing the guild Tan
[2018/06/25 14:17] Tanoujin Milestone: k :)
[2018/06/25 14:18] Tanoujin Milestone: I move to make Rosie RA representative for the LUC
[2018/06/25 14:18] Laura Azalee: seond

[2018/06/25 14:28] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): Well, first of all I wonder if we are able to vot now that bags left. And second, would it be a good idea to have a time limit for these meetings? We are only halfway the list and here for one and half hour already?

[2018/06/25 14:28] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): I cvannot always stay for hours on end as well due to RL demands

[2018/06/25 14:29] Tanoujin Milestone: to the time limit
[2018/06/25 14:29] Tanoujin Milestone: we can agree on something now

[2018/06/25 14:29] Tanoujin Milestone: done
[2018/06/25 14:29] Tanoujin Milestone: comments?

[2018/06/25 14:30] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): *did
[2018/06/25 14:30] Tanoujin Milestone: in theory we can run each meeting according to our needs
[2018/06/25 14:30] Laura Azalee: 2 hours is a lot already... definitely not more han that
[2018/06/25 14:30] Tanoujin Milestone: there is no general rule so far
[2018/06/25 14:31] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): I think one and half hour should be the max. Today I can stay till 3 pm which is my midnighhjt, but on

[2018/06/25 14:31] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): other meetngs 2 hours duration would mean that
[2018/06/25 14:31] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): I cvant start at 1 pm anymore
[2018/06/25 14:31] Tanoujin Milestone: Han?
[2018/06/25 14:32] Laura Azalee: midnight is too late for me too
[2018/06/25 14:32] Hannah Marie Tempestwolf (Han Held): RL is calling me too. I just wanted to thank y'all and apologize if it seemed as if I was overly mad earlier. Thank you and I will see you all soon
[2018/06/25 14:32] Tanoujin Milestone: i suggest we keep the decision to that meeting here and now
[2018/06/25 14:32] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): bye Hannah
[2018/06/25 14:32] Rosie Gray: we started later than scheduled initially today, because Bags couldn't get in to send the Notecard in time for the 10 am start
[2018/06/25 14:32] Laura Azalee: bye Han
[2018/06/25 14:32] Rosie Gray: bye Han

[2018/06/25 14:33] Rosie Gray: I don't think any of us want long meetings ㋡
[2018/06/25 14:33] Tanoujin Milestone: so is it okay to run it another 27 minutes?
[2018/06/25 14:33] Kiki Whatever (InekeB Resident): I see. I don't mind to start at 1 pm but only wehn the meeting does not last longer than one and half hour
