All Candidates Meeting for 31st RA?

Post by Rosie Gray »

Just wondering if the SC is going to organize an All Candidates Meeting? Would be really nice to have the opportunity to debate my fellow candidates!

In the past the SC has organised debates between chancellor candidates several times as a courtesy, but I don´t think we will do the same for RA candidates this time. Of course I can only speak as a single member and not for the whole body.

Still the RA candidates are free to organise themselves for a debate of course

As Lilith said, not this time. I don't think any of us have the time available this round to try to coordinate 6 people from multiple time zones for a real time debate, and do the work of arranging questions and running it :/

Candidates are, of course, welcome as always to post their platforms and carry out discussion/debates in the Forums

People often say that, in a democracy, decisions are made by a majority of the people. Of course, that is not true. Decisions are made by a majority of those who make themselves heard and who vote -- a very different thing.
