I work in RL city planning and something without proper consent has to have been there for 10 years to exempt from planning control. Enforcement is a large part of town planning.

I can see where you are coming from on this one but sometimes hard decisions have to be taken in RL that impact peoples real property. This is SL.

I can see where you are coming from on this and I tend to agree. I was just pointing out inconsistencies in approach. You would hope that change in this instance could be achieved through discussion.
