Actually, that's not even accurate. On the one issue I completely agree, but decided on a different course of action for myself. I understand and respect the way you feel about it. 8)

Re: A very public post about a very private matter

I swore to myself I wouldn't get involved in the politics, and then I did. My own weakness manifest...

Nice work! Gads, but I love a virtual pub crawl 8)
Because of time restraints we're only hitting a few places ...plenty of opportunities (and places) for folks to hit if they want to do a follow-up crawl! 8)

Re: Monastary

That's great, Ranma! Can you please clarify for me what the 'Church of Peter' is? Is it Anglican or is it Catholic? When I google it, I get both results. It is the Catholic church since my understanding is it is the church of this monastery. Though Anglican/Episcopal would work as well. Would like ...

Re: Monastary

I'd be willing to make a cross of some sort, based on an anglican/episcopal[1] design. This is what I've found after a quick google https://holycrosscarlsbad.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/cross-side.png This is my favorite design, altho it's Presbyterian: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/comm...

Re: Monastary

I'm uncomfortable with aligning our structures with any specific denomination. I'm down with a generic "Christian" theme; but not with a specific Christian sect such as Catholicism, Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox (tho they have some awesome churches) or Protestantism. Simply put, by choosing one y...

Re: PROPOSAL: Buy a year, get some months FREE

Also not in favour of discounts for extended tier payments ... I already pay the max time I can for my parcel and it's never crossed my mind that it should earn me a discount .... as others said CDS is not expensive to start with, so leave it as it is gets my vote :) Thank you, Shep. I'm definitely...

Re: Continuation of discussion from RA Gov Announcements

Every time I read about "the great firewall" of china on Hacker News etc, someone always mentions VPNs and that they're a thing over there. So it is possible to utilize google etc. My understanding of this is that if you can access Second Life at all, you are using a VPN to do so, as SL is also blo...

Re: Continuation of discussion from RA Gov Announcements

I think it would be very good to change the laws to reflect current practices.

Every time I read about "the great firewall" of china on Hacker News etc, someone always mentions VPNs and that they're a thing over there. So it is possible to utilize google etc.

That is beside the point, though.

Re: Continuation of discussion from RA Gov Announcements

Email's a lost cause, but would it be possible to somehow archive the google sheet info on our forum or portal somehow? That way the discussions aren't totally gone?
