Re: Government Question Hour proposed for Sunday, April 19th at 9am SL

@Emilia: I will try my best to attend, and the chances are good. But I do not think my little messenger job as your LUC Representative makes me an able part of the executive - in fact I know very little about the daily exec biz right now. Although you can choose to give me some briefing, I doubt I w...

Tan requests 7 day vote

I hereby request a seven day vote for the RA meeting of April the 5th. The Szech 24/7 nurse of my mother departs early because of the special circumstances caused by Covid-19, so my help is needed. Thank you.

Re: Govt Question Hour - Transcript Discussion

Nice job, Lyubov! I think it is not a good idea to code the possibility of a cosy teatime, but it is most likely exactly what we have to expect in the near future. Nevertheless, what Calli stated is true - we can not have enough controls of the government by the citizens. So it is good to have this ...

Re: Govt Question Hour - Transcript Discussion

I like your latest draft, Lyubov. Nevertheless it should be made clear that I can simply appear in timely fashion to the GQH, wait until the record runs and ask away, without the need to write notices to the Dean, the LRA and the Chancellor beforehand - while the answer might be „I do not know at th...

Re: Other actions of the 8th RA

Since it has the character of summarized minutes, we could move it to the the archive section of the portal where the minutes are stored? I always hesitate to erase historical relevant texts... ;)

Re: Aye... another forum upgrade...

Thank you, dear Gwyneth, always nice to hear from you :) I hope you and your companion are well.

Do not forget to mention if you have any expenses. I know you have a tendency to shadow virtue and are tempted to pay stuff out of your own pocket without letting us know :P

Best!

About the difference between setting land to group and deeding it (might be partly outdated) http://forums-archive.secondlife.com/327/df/271770/1.html edit: additional point about LI-pooling: If you own more than one parcel in a region, the land capacity of those parcels is a unified pool. For insta...

Re: Mieville in Trouble Due To Missing Landowner

I do not trust the Lindens and would not approach them unprepared... they may find our practices already out of TOS and give us a hard time. Second life is a capitalistic environment, and capitalism kills off any alternatives. To get information how non profits or not for profits handle their estate...

Re: Mieville in Trouble Due To Missing Landowner

After pondering quite a while how a succession process could be implemented, I reached a point where I think we need a Vice Treasurer/EO-Typist.
